July 27, 2015, almost midnight, I was actually sleeping already that time when Ram called me to deliver some shocking news. I’m sure you still remember about Yamba‘s ultimate giveaway for their beta testers, right? Yes, I myself couldn’t believe it as well. I won. I won!!!
Three lucky beta testers with the most number of posts, post views, and followers will get the chance to win a brand new iPhone 6, each. I’m one of them. And I would like to dedicate this whole post to the Yamba community and of course to CBC as well because without them, I would’ve never known about Yamba and this contest. I am really, really thankful.
Yamba is a web based (currently) application that functions like Pinterest + Instagram (if you ask me about what Yamba is about). As a beta application, Yamba is still coping with bugs and other flaws of their system. Nonetheless, using it was still convenient and I like how they combined the ideas from existing applications today.
Just as before I got access to the phone and tried how it works, I was literally having a moment to where I realized the adjustment that I’d be facing with a new phone.
You see, I have been an Android user ever since and it never disappointed me. Regardless of the speed of the device (which I have been into, from super low to moderate to fast, different times already), Android is a pretty good, user-friendly, open-source operating system and users can almost do whatever they want with their phones running such OS. But hey, who among you here isn’t fascinated with the thought of an iPhone? An iPhone 6, specifically? Haha. I know right.
Now it’s time to say good bye to my MyPhone Infinity Lite device who literally served me very well the past year. I really love it so much because its performance is way better for a local phone should have. Ugh, why do I feel like I just sold a pet. Anywayyy, I hope your new owner (let’s just call him by the name ‘Ram’) will take good care of you. I will miss you so bad but I will surely pay you a visit every now and then. Hahaha. Okay, seriously.
I did some sort of an ‘unboxing’ thing right here so there you go. I also bought myself a hard clear case and a screen protector to start with. Gosh, I’m really glad they picked us the space gray color.
Here’s a really big THANK YOU to Yamba, to Sanna and to everyone in the community. Thank you so much to CBC for this wonderful and phone-changing opportunity (it’s kind of a pun to ‘life-changing’ so yeah haha!). Thank you to all the PEOPLE WHO HELPED ME. You know who you are guys!
I will surely continue to support Yamba and I’ll certainly use this application when it’s finally up and running.
Yamba, really rocks!
